About the RoleWe are currently seeking a Clinical Respiratory Therapist to join our team at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients on Adult Floors/ER.
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will assess patients, develop and implement respiratory therapy care plans, and monitor patient progress. You will also be responsible for various diagnostic and therapeutic equipment and interventions. Additionally, you will collaborate with clinical teams to enhance clinical outcomes and provide training to healthcare providers on the use and care of respiratory equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Active or eligible registration with the College and Association of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CARTA)
- Graduate from a recognized School of Respiratory Therapy and eligible to write, or have passed, the National Respiratory Certification Exam as administered by the Canadian Board for Respiratory Care (CBRC)
- Maintaining current active registration in good standing with CRTA throughout the duration of employment
The successful candidate must possess excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. You must be highly motivated, confident, and enthusiastic with a positive attitude who is aligned with AHS Values. You should be able to act quickly and decisively using critical thinking and problem-solving skills, utilizing strong judgment to analyze facts and arrive at sound conclusions.

Salary and BenefitsEstimated salary: $95,000 - $110,000 per year based on experience and qualifications. Comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as pension and wellness programs.
