This position is located in GS Surge and offers a unique opportunity to work with various clinical teams and groups to enhance clinical outcomes.

Job Description

As a Respiratory Therapist I, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing respiratory therapy care plans, and monitoring progress. You will also be responsible for various diagnostic and therapeutic equipment and interventions.

You will provide training and assist healthcare providers in the use and care of respiratory equipment, as well as educate patients and their families regarding diseases, medications, equipment, and treatments.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is between $38.39 and $49.34 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Active or eligible registration with the College and Association of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CARTA)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS-HCP) certification
  • Competency in all phases of the job, adaptability to new procedures and information, and current knowledge of respiratory therapy advances and department practices
