Salary
$43.17-$55.39 per hour

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Child Therapist to join our team. As a member of our inter-professional team, you will work closely with colleagues to provide comprehensive mental health assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions. Your expertise will help us deliver timely and effective mental health care to preschoolers, children, adolescents, and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive bio-psycho-social mental health assessments
- Develop treatment plans and formulate diagnoses
- Provide therapeutic interventions to support clients in achieving therapeutic goals
- Facilitate psycho-educational and therapeutic groups for children and families
- Carry out case management functions
- Advocate on behalf of the child and family as appropriate
- Act as an active, contributing member of an inter-professional team

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Graduate degree in social work, occupational therapy, child and youth counselling, addictions counselling, or psychology
- Experience working in a clinical practice setting and in child and family mental health and/or youth addictions
- Must be a member in good standing with your respective professional association/college
- Candidates eligible for membership with their professional association/college will also be considered

- Ability to pass and maintain Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) certification (training provided by CASA)

CASA Mental Health operates several programs across Alberta, including Core, Family Therapy, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Program, Indigenous Mental Health Services, Trauma Program, Adolescent Day Program, Children's Day Program, Preschool Day Program, CASA House, CASA Classrooms, Triage and Transition, and the Pre-Admission Clinic.
