Job Summary:
The McMaster University is seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Research Specialist to join its research team. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Psychology or a related field and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
About the Role:
- Administer and score psychological and neuropsychological tests under the supervision of a Principal Investigator or Research Coordinator.
- Conduct clinical interviews with study participants and provide expertise in interpreting test results relative to standard norms and established criteria.
- Score assessments using established criteria and standard norms, and coordinate the collection, delivery, entry, verification, analysis, and reporting of data.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and interpret psychological and neuropsychological test results, and write comprehensive clinical reports summarizing findings.
- Recruit participants for research studies, plan and coordinate research meetings and conference calls with collaborators, and schedule assessment appointments.
- Collect, organize, and maintain study participant information, ensuring confidentiality and adhering to research protocols.
Requirements:
- A Master's degree in Psychology or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in mental health research, preferably with experience in administering and scoring psychological and neuropsychological tests.
Compensation and Benefits:
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits.
