Job Summary:

The McMaster University is seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Research Specialist to join its research team. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Psychology or a related field and at least 3 years of relevant experience.

About the Role:

  • Administer and score psychological and neuropsychological tests under the supervision of a Principal Investigator or Research Coordinator.
  • Conduct clinical interviews with study participants and provide expertise in interpreting test results relative to standard norms and established criteria.
  • Score assessments using established criteria and standard norms, and coordinate the collection, delivery, entry, verification, analysis, and reporting of data.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assess and interpret psychological and neuropsychological test results, and write comprehensive clinical reports summarizing findings.
  2. Recruit participants for research studies, plan and coordinate research meetings and conference calls with collaborators, and schedule assessment appointments.
  3. Collect, organize, and maintain study participant information, ensuring confidentiality and adhering to research protocols.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in mental health research, preferably with experience in administering and scoring psychological and neuropsychological tests.

Compensation and Benefits:

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits.
