As a Respiratory Care Specialist in this unit, you will work in a collaborative environment with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Salary Information
Our estimated salary range for this position is between $75,000 and $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Description
As a Respiratory Care Specialist in the PICU, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing respiratory care to critically ill children
- Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting
- Participating in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program
- Current registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario
- Experience working in a pediatric critical care setting
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
