Job OverviewThis role offers an estimated salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. As a Prosthetic Care Specialist, you will work in an ambulatory setting, designing specific solutions to support patients in achieving their functional, recreational, and aesthetic goals.
- Patient evaluation and treatment planning related to prosthetic or orthotic devices
- Prosthetic or orthotic treatment implementation, evaluation, and ongoing re-evaluation
- Documenting patient-specific information in the patient's medical record
We require certification in both Prosthetics and Orthotics, CPO(c), as an asset. A valid Ontario driver's license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle with 2 million dollars liability insurance are also necessary for traveling to HHS sites and other community hospitals.
Requirements- Certification in Prosthetics and Orthotics, CPO(c)
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in critical thinking and reasoning skills
- Self-directed, flexible, independent clinician with collaboration skills
- Valid Ontario driver's license and reliable vehicle
