Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our interdisciplinary team in the NICU. As an RRT, you will be responsible for providing respiratory care to critically ill neonates, including those requiring mechanical ventilation and other forms of life support.

You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to provide family-centered care that prioritizes the emotional, mental, and physical well-being of our patients.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and educational activities to enhance patient outcomes and staff development;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A graduate degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program;
  • Current registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario (CRTO);
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a level III NICU or equivalent setting;
  • Experience with high-risk deliveries and infant resuscitation;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
