Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team at Ontario Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the flow of information, interviewing patients, and performing various administrative tasks in a fast-paced medical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the flow of information and maintain accurate records
  • Interview patients to obtain case histories and maintain confidentiality
  • Open and distribute incoming mail and other materials
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, and maintain a large caseload
  • Train staff in procedures and software, and complete insurance claim forms
  • Maintain filing systems, order supplies, and perform data entry
  • Provide excellent customer service and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a medical setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain confidentiality
