Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Hotel Clerk to join our team at Canadas Best Value Inn & Suites. As a Front Desk Hotel Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room assignments, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform tasks such as faxing, filing, and photocopying to maintain a well-organized front desk area.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and assist clients/guests with special needs.
  • Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for our guests.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and maintaining attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, excellent oral communication, and organized.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, with a permanent position and 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
