Hotel Front Desk Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Hotel Clerk to join our team at Canadas Best Value Inn & Suites. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
- Information Provision: Provide guests with information on hotel facilities and services, including amenities and local attractions.
- Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical tasks, such as faxing, filing, and photocopying, to support the front office team.
- Communication: Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff, ensuring prompt and accurate communication.
- Special Needs Assistance: Assist guests with special needs, such as mobility or accessibility requirements.
- Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for guests.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
- Work Conditions: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and maintaining attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, excellent oral communication, and organized.
