Cisco Voice Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cisco Voice Engineer to join our team at Axelon Services Corporation. As a Cisco Voice Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex voice networks and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement voice networks and systems using Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX), and other related technologies.
  • Configure and troubleshoot voice devices, including IP phones, gateways, and routers.
  • Develop and implement voice network security policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of voice systems with other IT systems.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users and other technical teams.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining voice networks and systems using Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and other related technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of voice network protocols, including SIP, H.323, and MGCP.
  • Experience with Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX) and other contact center technologies.
  • Strong understanding of voice network security principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Oracle Session Border Controller (SBC) and Oracle Enterprise Communication Broker (ECB).
  • Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Operations Monitor (EOM) and other Oracle-related technologies.
  • Experience with integration of PSTN telephone with Microsoft Teams.
  • Knowledge of Vitec (formerly Exterity) IPTV solution.
