Health Information Management Director

Northern Health is seeking a seasoned Health Information Management (HIM) professional to lead our team in delivering high-quality HIM services. As the Director of Health Information Management, you will be responsible for overseeing the registration, release of information, records management, and health informatics services. Your leadership skills and experience in managing complex projects and quality improvement initiatives will be essential in driving our organization's vision and mission.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of HIM professionals in delivering HIM services
Develop and implement HIM strategies to support integrated care and high-quality service delivery
Manage complex projects and quality improvement initiatives
Build and maintain relationships with strategic partners and solution providers
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in HIM
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in health information science or a related discipline
Minimum of 10 years of progressively more responsible information management experience in a health care environment
Demonstrated experience in effectively influencing leaders and implementing organizational change
