Health Information Management Director

Northern Health is seeking a seasoned health information management professional to lead our HIM team. As Director, HIM, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality HIM services, including registration, release of information, records management, and health informatics. You will lead complex projects, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive organizational change to support integrated care and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of HIM professionals to deliver high-quality services
- Develop and implement HIM strategies to support organizational goals
- Manage complex projects and quality improvement initiatives
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including healthcare providers and vendors
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in HIM
- Bachelor's degree in health information science or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in HIM, with a focus on leadership and management
- Proven track record of leading change and driving organizational improvement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment
