About the Role

Petro-Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and motivate a team of retail staff to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity.
  • Store Operations
    • Authorize returns and exchanges of merchandise in accordance with company policies.
    • Establish and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels.
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  • Customer Service and Sales
    • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Supervise and coordinate activities of workers to ensure efficient sales floor operations.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced retail environment.
    • Display strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Exhibit reliability and a strong work ethic.
    • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals.
    Requirements
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail supervisory role.
    • Permanent employment with a minimum of 30-40 hours per week.
    • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
