Aveanna Healthcare seeks compassionate and skilled nurses to join our team of caregivers. As a Home Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing one-on-one care to medically fragile children and adults in the comfort of their own homes.
We offer competitive compensation for this rewarding career opportunity. Based on industry standards and national averages, we estimate the salary for this position to be around $55-$70 per hour, depending on experience and location.
As a Home Health Nurse with Aveanna, your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing physicians' prescribed plans of care
- Conducting patient assessments and coordinating care
- Administering prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies
- Documenting care provided in our system of record
- Providing health promotion, teaching, and training to family members
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- An active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state where you will practice
- Current CPR certification from a reputable organization
- TB skin test (current within the last 12 months)
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
