Professional Hemodialysis Nurse Specialist

At Mackenzie Health, we're seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Hemodialysis Nurse Specialist. This role requires experience working with acute and chronic patients in a hemodialysis environment.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity for a professional nurse to provide holistic, quality care to patients within the scope of practice identified by the College of Nurses of Ontario. You'll be responsible for managing patient care, addressing issues, and exercising sound judgment.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing high-quality patient care and education
- Assessing patient needs and developing effective care plans
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure safe and inclusive environments
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A current Certificate of Registration in the General Class with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Proven clinical experience with patient-focused care and strong patient assessment skills
We're looking for candidates with:
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing from an approved nursing program
- Recent completion of a physical assessment course
- Membership in the Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario (RNAO)/Canadian Nurses Association (CNA)
- At least 1 year of recent nursing experience working as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
