Senior Nursing Leadership and Education Specialist

At Summit Search Group, we are seeking a highly experienced Senior Nursing Leadership and Education Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise in nursing practice, education, and professional development.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team that values innovation and excellence in patient care. As a Director of Professional Practice, Education and Academic Partnerships, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of healthcare by developing and implementing nursing professional care delivery models, evaluating standards for effective optimization of Health Human Resources (HHR), and promoting evidence-based practice.
You will have the autonomy to lead clinical product reviews, develop education programs, and implement quality initiatives to ensure continuous quality improvement. Additionally, you will provide consultative services to operational leadership on competency, conduct, and capacity practice issues for nurses across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Nursing Practice Leadership: Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing professional care delivery models within the context of interprofessional teams.
- HHR Optimization: Develop and evaluate standards for effective optimization of Health Human Resources (HHR) to manage patient surge and health system pressures.
- Content Expertise: Be the content matter expert for nursing practice, including legal and regulatory requirements, responsible for interpreting and developing standards of care in alignment with best practice and evidence.
- Clinical Product Reviews: Lead clinical product reviews, develop education programs, and implement quality initiatives to ensure continuous quality improvement.
- Operational Support: Provide consultative services to operational leadership on competency, conduct, and capacity practice issues for nurses across the organization.
- Theoretical and Practical Experience: Theoretical and practical experience in adult education required.
- Educational Program Planning: Educational program planning, development, and evaluation preferred.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support: Completion of a Basic Cardiac Life Support (B.C.L.S.) program, Level II: Basic Rescuer certification required.
- Specialty Certification: Specialty certification as per area of responsibility required.
- Teaching and Adult Learning Skills: Strong teaching and adult learning skills required.
- Undergraduate or Master's Degree: Undergraduate or Master's Degree in Nursing or recognized equivalent preferred.
- Regulated Health Professional: Regulated Health Professional (CNO/or MRTO).
- Registered Nurses Program: Completion of Registered Nurses Program.
- Recent, Relevant Experience: Minimum 5 years of recent, relevant experience in a nursing leadership, advanced practice, or similar position.
We offer a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $170,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
