Nurse Care Specialist

Mackenzie Health seeks a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team. This is a challenging and exciting role that requires a strong commitment to quality care and safety.
About the RoleThis position involves providing holistic, high-quality care to patients with complex needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities- Manage patient care plans and coordinate with the interprofessional care team
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Participate in continuous learning and professional development
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A current Certificate of Registration in the General Class with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Recent experience working as a Registered Practical Nurse in an acute care setting
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Prior experience with IV therapy, wound care, or ambulatory clinics would be an asset.
What We OfferMackenzie Health offers a competitive salary of $85,000 - $105,000 per year, based on experience. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
