Job Title: Artistic Floral Bouquet Designer

Fleuriste la pousse verte is seeking a skilled and creative Artistic Floral Bouquet Designer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and creating beautiful floral arrangements and bouquets for our customers.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to work in our retail florist shop. The successful candidate will have experience in ornamental horticulture, floriculture/floristry operations and management, and will be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Gather necessary materials to demonstrate crafting techniques
  • Design and create floral arrangements and bouquets using natural and artificial flowers and decorative accessories
  • Organize day-to-day business operations, including sales and customer service
  • Supervise apprentices or other artisans and train workers in duties and policies
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Order merchandise and manage inventory
  • Work in a fast-paced retail environment and maintain a high level of professionalism
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in ornamental horticulture, floriculture/floristry operations and management
  • Manual dexterity and ability to distinguish between colours
  • Punctuality, creativity, and leadership skills
