Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Smartworld Infotech solutions inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer systems and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Research and implement solutions to complex technical problems, utilizing technical manuals, guides, and other resources.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to users on various software applications and technical procedures.
  • Collaborate with other technical support analysts to maintain a comprehensive problems and solutions log.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of new software applications and systems.
  • Supervise and mentor junior technical support staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of business systems, networks, and Internet services, providing timely support to users as needed.
  • Install and configure computer equipment, including operating systems and software, to meet user requirements.
  • Perform regular backups and recovery operations for web servers to ensure business continuity.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field, such as computer science or information technology.
  • At least 7 months of experience in a technical support role, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with users at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
Working Conditions
  • 36 hours per week, with a regular schedule and opportunities for overtime.
  • English language proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with users and colleagues.
