Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Smartworld Infotech solutions inc. The successful candidate will provide exceptional technical support to our users, ensuring they receive timely and effective assistance with computer-related issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Respond to user inquiries and provide solutions to computer-related problems, utilizing technical manuals and guides as necessary.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve complex technical issues, often requiring collaboration with other technical support analysts.
  • Training and Development: Provide guidance and training to users on software applications and technical procedures.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of problems and solutions, ensuring that this information is available for future reference.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in the redesign of applications and software, working closely with other technical support analysts and development teams.
  • Supervision: Supervise and mentor junior technical support staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Technical Operations: Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations, ensuring the integrity and availability of our technical systems.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a technical support role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 36 hours per week.
