Job Title: Line Cook

The Judge and Jury is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate special events and plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization.
  • Prepare and cook dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
Work Environment:

The Judge and Jury is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires a high level of energy and enthusiasm. As a Line Cook, you will be working in a kitchen environment with a team of experienced chefs and cooks.

Language:

The primary language spoken in the kitchen is English.

Hours:

The working hours for this position are 30 to 40 hours per week.
