Job Overview

We are seeking a customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Representative in Guelph, ON. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving issues, and promoting our services.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is $20.26 per hour.

About the Role

This Retail Representative position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, interacting with customers, drivers, and other team members to deliver excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong focus on building relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serving customers in the most efficient and courteous manner
  • Handling customer complaints and inquiries
  • Working to resolve problem shipments and equipment challenges
  • Building positive relationships with customers, vendors, and colleagues
  • Loading, scanning, logging, and calling resolution freight
  • Cash reconciliation, including deposits and key control
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to lift 70lbs and stand for 3-hour intervals
  • Proficient in using technology, such as POS systems
  • Previous retail or customer-facing experience an asset
