The Role:

This position is a client-focused role that requires a deep understanding of the industry and a commitment to establishing and maintaining excellent service. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling contract and special system accounts, researching special non-stock requirements, and providing product knowledge to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle contract and special system accounts, and research special non-stock requirements with suppliers or other branches.
  • Assist Outside Sales staff with information regarding customer purchase orders and product or pricing information as needed.
  • Utilize product knowledge to recommend alternatives to customers and upsell whenever possible.
  • Maintain daily the Call When Complete queue to ensure on-time delivery of required product.
  • Work with shipping/receiving to ensure product is shipped and received as required.
  • Communicate with Purchasing to ensure they are up to date with time requirements of orders.

About You:

  • 2-3 years product knowledge experience in the Plumbing and/or HVAC sector.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and commitment to customer service.
  • Excellent organizational skills to effectively prioritize tasks and maintain an abundance of paperwork.
  • Ability to meet strategic goals and objectives with little supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with high pressure for results.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, analyze the importance of situations, and respond appropriately.
  • Good working knowledge of all areas of the ERP (Eclipse) systems.
