We deliver billions of ad impressions and millions of clicks daily, breaking fresh ground in product and technical innovations every day.

Salary and Benefits
As a highly motivated and collaborative team member, you will have the opportunity to work in one of the fastest-growing businesses across all of Amazon. The estimated salary range for this position is $124,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications. Additionally, Amazon offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

Job Description
You will be responsible for inventing new experiences and influencing customer-facing shopping experiences to help suppliers grow their retail business and the auction dynamics that leverage native advertising. This is your chance to work within the fastest-growing businesses across all of Amazon and define a long-term science vision for our advertising business, driven fundamentally from our customers' needs. Your direction will translate into specific plans for research and applied scientists, as well as engineering and product teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should have:
• At least 3+ years of experience building models for business applications
• A PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or related languages
• Experience in areas like algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, high-performance computing
• Ability to solve business problems through machine learning, data mining, and statistical algorithms
• Experience designing experiments and statistically analyzing results
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments
• Professional software development experience
