We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our food services team at Canadas Best Value Inn & Suites. As an integral part of our operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of meals, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for advancement. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, a secondary school graduation certificate, and excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Chef Responsibilities:
    • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet quality and presentation standards.
    • Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
    • SUPERVISE kitchen staff and helpers to ensure they are meeting expectations.
  • Kitchen Management:
    • Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
    • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas.
    • Manage kitchen operations to meet customer demand and maintain efficiency.
