Strategic Portfolio Growth Specialist

As a cornerstone business within Scotia Wealth Management, ScotiaMcLeod has established itself as a trusted advisor in the investment industry. Our teams pride themselves on exploring innovative approaches to protecting and growing our clients' assets.
We are seeking an experienced Investment Associate to work closely with a Wealth Advisor in the development and management of their book of business. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective client service and contributing to business development and sales-related activities.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Identifying new business opportunities to gather additional assets and/or increase revenue
- Utilizing expertise in products and services to identify new opportunities within the existing client base
- Collaborating with Advisors and Total Wealth Specialists to deepen client relationships through total wealth planning
- Preparing, analyzing, and presenting reports and recommendations to clients
- Developing and distributing client communication and marketing pieces with the Advisor
- Serving as a leader to other associates on the team and within the branch by providing direction and coaching
- Regularly reviewing practices to ensure administrative processes are streamlined and administrative tasks are completed and logged for tracking purposes
This is a dynamic role that requires exceptional client service skills, providing a professional and respectful experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in the securities industry, hold a Registered Representative (RR) designation, and have successfully completed the Wealth Management Essentials (WME).
In return for your expertise, you can expect a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth and development within our organization.
