D2L is a leading education technology company that helps institutions transform the way they learn. We are seeking a skilled Senior Client Sales Executive to join our team and drive growth in our Higher Education segment.

Salary Range

">

The estimated annual salary for this role is $92,000-$133,000 CAD, commensurate with experience. In addition to base pay, you may also be eligible for performance-based incentives and benefits.

About the Role

">

In this position, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, identifying revenue opportunities, and driving sales growth across multiple North American Higher Education accounts. You will work closely with clients to understand their strategic visions and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs.

Your Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Exceed revenue objectives within your assigned territory">
  • Forecast and manage the end-to-end contract renewal process for your assigned territory while meeting book of business targets">
  • Identify revenue opportunities within each client account and forecast them accurately in the CRM">
  • Manage a complex solution sale, moving the sale through the entire sales process">
  • Develop and maintain a territory plan for your assigned account base">
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients (on the phone and virtually) to foster the relationship and uncover or advance sales opportunities">
  • Effectively and efficiently deploy D2L resources at appropriate stages in the sales cycle to advance the sales process">
  • Productively work alongside other D2L stakeholders on the client's account team">
  • Be well-informed about current industry trends and be able to speak intelligently about the education industry while constantly striving to improve knowledge">
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars, trade shows, and conferences, variable by the seasonality of the business and need of individual sales cycles">
  • Occasional travel required - 25% of time (client sites and user conferences)">

Your Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with 3+ years of experience in a SaaS sales-oriented account management role, preferably in the Higher Education sector. You should have strong communication and presentation skills, as well as self-motivation and a commitment to excellence.
