Event Coordinator Job Description

JHAJJ PRODUCTION LTD is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and executing conferences, meetings, and special events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote conference and meeting services or special events to clients and stakeholders
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers to support event operations
  • Develop and manage budgets for events, including sponsorship and partnership programs
  • Review bids and negotiate costs with vendors and suppliers
  • Coordinate and monitor event activities, including set-ups, staging, seating, parking, and communication systems
  • Implement registration systems and plan for accommodation and transportation services
  • Develop policies and procedures for event management and attend to other management responsibilities
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP degree
  • 1-2 years of experience in event planning or a related field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Fast-paced environment with overtime required
  • Permanent position with 35 hours per week
  • Work Language: English
