About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Planning Specialist to join our team at JHAJJ PRODUCTION LTD. As an Event Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing various events and conferences, ensuring seamless execution and exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote Conference and Meeting Services

Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our conference and meeting services to potential clients.

Recruit, Hire, and Supervise Staff

Recruit, hire, and supervise a team of staff and/or volunteers to support event planning and execution.

Prepare and Manage Budgets

Prepare and manage budgets for events and conferences, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

Develop Sponsorship and Fundraising Programs

Develop and implement sponsorship and fundraising programs to support event planning and execution.

Review Bids and Negotiate Costs

Review bids and negotiate costs with vendors and suppliers to ensure the best possible rates.

Coordinate Conference and Meeting Activities

Coordinate and monitor conference and meeting activities, ensuring timely execution and exceeding client expectations.

Coordinate Event Logistics

Coordinate event logistics, including set-ups, staging, seating, parking, communication systems, and other details.

Implement Registration Systems

Implement registration systems for events and conferences, ensuring efficient and secure processing.

Plan and Arrange for Accommodation and Transportation

Plan and arrange for accommodation and transportation services for event attendees and staff.

Plan for Required Documentation

Plan for required documentation, including itineraries, evaluations, and other materials.

Plan for Social Events and Guest Programs

Plan and arrange for social events and guest programs, ensuring a memorable experience for attendees.

Develop Policies and Procedures

Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective event planning and execution.

Manage Event Logistics

Manage event logistics, including supervision of office and volunteer staff.

Work Term: Permanent

Permanent full-time position.

Work Language: English

English language proficiency required.

Hours: 35 hours per week
