Job Description:

beBee Professionals is seeking an experienced Event Planning Specialist to join our team in Edmonton, AB. The Event Planning Specialist will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of events, including conferences, meetings, and other special events.

The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage event budgets
  • Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodations
  • Develop and implement event marketing plans
  • Manage event registration and attendee tracking
  • Coordinate event staff and volunteers
  • Monitor event progress and ensure deadlines are met
  • Evaluate event success and provide recommendations for improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in event planning and coordination
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
