Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the role of Associate Camp Director. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily camp operations, program development, and staff management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily camp operations, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for campers
  • Develop and implement programs, activities, and lesson plans that meet the needs of our campers
  • Manage and supervise a team of staff, including summer leadership team members
  • Communicate effectively with parents and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a camp or youth organization setting
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, staff, and parents
  • First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with children, preferably in a summer camp or youth organization setting
  • Knowledge of program development and implementation, with a focus on creating engaging and inclusive activities
  • Experience with staff management and supervision, including training and development
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and communication
