Position Summary
We are in search of a dedicated Regional Operations Manager for Eastern Canada, who will be based at our corporate headquarters.

This experienced individual will be responsible for overseeing the management of Canlan Sports facilities throughout Eastern Canada, ensuring the effective delivery of services and products while promoting a positive experience for both employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Report directly to the Vice President of Operations.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams.
  • Utilize Human Resources support to achieve operational goals.
  • Drive performance to exceed established targets through strategic decision-making and analysis.
  • Guide each facility in meeting the objectives outlined in their annual operational plans.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Operations, Retail Sales & Service, or Food & Beverage management, ideally within the sports, entertainment, or hospitality sectors.
  • Extensive senior-level expertise in Lean Operations/Six Sigma, with a proven history in Multi-Unit Management.
  • Possess a College Certificate or University Degree in business or a related discipline.
  • Experience in Operations/Hospitality/Entertainment/Sports Management, complemented by relevant training.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to assess the broader business landscape and understand resource constraints.
  • Experience in budget and business plan formulation.
  • Proven leadership skills to inspire and motivate mid and upper management teams.
  • Exhibit a balanced, hands-on management approach.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to manage for results.
  • Demonstrated project management expertise and a solid understanding of financial analysis and performance metrics.
  • General Management experience with a comprehensive grasp of business principles.
  • Proficient in conflict resolution.
  • Proven track record in planning and managing operational processes for optimal efficiency and productivity.
