Executive Sous Chef

At Royal Vancouver Yacht Club, we are seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our members and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers
* Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory
* Estimate the amount and costs of supplies and food items
* Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities
* Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets, and specialty functions
Requirements:
* 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen
* Proven leadership and management skills
* Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of fine dining cuisine
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
