Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to support our SDM stores in the Manitoba/Saskatchewan region. As a key member of the HR team, you will provide expert guidance and support to regional resources and Associate-Owners on all Human Resources Management disciplines.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of provincial Human Resources/employment legislation and regulations, as well as experience in Employee Relations & HR Business Partnering. You will be responsible for investigating employee and integrity action complaints, coaching Associates through the investigation process, and ensuring timely and effective resolutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance and support to regional resources and Associate-Owners on all Human Resources Management disciplines.
  • Investigate employee and integrity action complaints and coach Associates through the investigation process.
  • Ensure timely and effective resolutions to employee and integrity action complaints.
  • Develop and implement HR initiatives to support the growth and success of the organization.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and coaching to Associates on HR policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular HR Onboarding/HR 101 sessions for new Associates.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management/Industrial Relations or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive human resource experience with detailed knowledge of Employee Relations & HR Business Partnering, provincial Human Resources/employment legislation and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
