About the Role

As a Wealth Management Consultant at Royal Bank of Canada, you will work closely with Investment Advisors to provide expert consulting services to their clients. This involves creating comprehensive summary letters for clients recapitulating advice discussed during client interview sessions. You will also participate in client seminars, develop relationships with other estate planning professionals, and stay up-to-date on pertinent legislation, policy, and risk management issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carr[ies out client interview sessions and creates comprehensive summary letters for clients
  • Participates with advisors in client/prospect seminars and develops relationships with other estate planning professionals
  • Stays current relative to pertinent legislation, policy, and risk management issues
  • Proactively identifies new business and referral opportunities for RBC Financial Group
  • Fosters a cohesive working environment across RBC Financial Group
  • Maintains and reports an accurate and complete record of activities and results

Requirements

  • Canadian Law Degree and called to the bar in at least one Canadian province or territory
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with advanced knowledge of Canadian legislation
  • Excellent written, verbal, and electronic communication skills in English
