Community Manager Role

Reporting to the Senior Property Manager, the Community Manager plays a critical role in assisting with the professional management, administration, and leasing of a mixed-use apartment community in Kelowna, BC.

The Community Manager will assist the Property Manager in managing resources, contracts, tools, and supplies to ensure effective and efficient management of Centurion's real property assets, adhering to established standards and budgets.

Responsibilities

Relationship Development: Develop and foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring proactive and timely resolution of staff, contractor, vendor, and consultant performance issues.

Customer Service: Professionally and courteously handle all resident inquiries, feedback, complaints, or concerns, ensuring high resident satisfaction through consistent attention to Centurion's vision, mission, and values.

Ongoing Operations: Ensure adherence to Centurion Property Associates' policies and procedures, motivate and develop site staff, review and approve invoices, leases, and other essential documents.

Risk Management: Ensure ongoing compliance with current codes, technical safety standards, and legislation, assist with effective and prompt resolution of municipal and provincial work orders.

Requirements:

  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service;
  • Minimum 3 years' experience independently managing a multi-family residential apartment building;
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills;
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong ability to multitask;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Strong command of MS Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
  • Detail-oriented; able to resolve problems using facts, sound reasoning, and common sense;
  • Forward thinking with ability to develop creative strategic solutions to issues;
  • Strong follow-up skills with ability to effectively resolve difficult issues in a timely manner;
  • Experience with Yardi property management systems considered an asset.

Compensation: $55,000-65,000 per year.
