Interior Health Authority is seeking a dedicated Change Management Lead to support the implementation of the Healthcare Mapping System (HCMS) project. This permanent full-time position offers an attractive remuneration package, excellent career prospects, and a range of benefits.

About the Role:
  • The Change Management Lead plays a key role in ensuring the HCMS project meets its strategic outcomes by focusing on the people side of change to increase employee adoption and usage.
  • This role will support various workstreams impacted by the organizational wide implementation, including payroll and recruitment.

The successful candidate will have experience in change management, with a strong understanding of Interior Health's values and leadership accountabilities. They will be able to develop and implement change management activities in line with Interior Health's Change Management methodology and provincial program strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and facilitate change management processes in accordance with Interior Health's values and leadership accountabilities.
  • Develop and implement change management activities in line with Interior Health's Change Management methodology and provincial program strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with project teams and design teams to integrate change management and project management activities.
  • Design and deliver tailored communication plans to promote awareness and understanding of the HCMS implementation.
  • Consult, coach, and engage project teams, executives, and managers to support capacity-building regarding change leadership.

The salary for this position is approximately $97,460 - $145,694, depending on qualifications and experience. Interested candidates should have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience in change management or a related field. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

In alignment with IH's Occupational Health & Safety Program, employees shall adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times and attend all required training. Employees are responsible to report any identified hazards, unsafe conditions or incidents to your manager or supervisor immediately.

The Change Management Lead will work closely with Senior Leadership to help them be active and visible change sponsor(s). They will also be responsible for integrating Interior Health and provincial program change management models and activities into project plans.

In addition to their technical skills, the successful candidate will possess excellent leadership and facilitation skills, with the ability to foster collaboration and engagement among stakeholders. They will be able to provide information, reports, plans, analyses, and recommendations to the Manager, Project Change & Training and/or program manager as required during the decision-making process.
