Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Bass Pro Shops. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a world-class shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide legendary customer service by assisting customers in making informed purchasing decisions, identifying and evaluating customer needs, and making product recommendations based on this analysis.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a high level of knowledge about our products, including features, benefits, and applications, to effectively communicate with customers and make recommendations.
  • Visual Presentation: Maintain visual presentation standards, including in-store signage, merchandise recovery, and restocking, to ensure a clean and organized sales floor.
  • Problem-Solving: Respond to and resolve customer issues by using good judgment and logic in solving problems and making decisions within the job scope.
  • Teamwork: Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate, demonstrating a willingness to support the team and contribute to the success of the store.
Requirements
  • Experience: One or more years' experience in a sales or service environment is preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to evaluate customers' needs and make recommendations based on needs, provide superior customer service, and use good judgment and logic.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops' specific products is an asset.
