About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Marketing Operations and Planning to join our team at Raymond James Financial. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement marketing strategies to support business objectives, providing hands-on support to steer strategic business initiatives from concept to execution and monitoring their progress over time.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and analysis of marketing special projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies to ensure quality and timely delivery of marketing materials.
  • Compliance: Ensure all marketing technology and operational activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.

Requirements

  • Degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing operations, program or project management, with at least 5 years in a managerial role. Preference to experience in the wealth management space.
  • Exceptional communicator and strategic thinker.
  • Ability to quickly assimilate large amounts of information; effectively comprehend, synthesize, analyze, structure and communicate executive-level narratives and to provide recommendations to help our marketing practice deliver value at scale.
  • Influencing skills, including ability to influence upwards and influence decision making.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams in a collaborative manner.
  • Solid business acuity, professionalism, and integrity.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines and to collaborate with diverse teams to align and implement marketing solutions.
  • Experience managing and motivating direct reports.
