As a vital member of the Marketing Planning and Delivery division within Canadian Banking Marketing, you will oversee comprehensive marketing strategies and the implementation of benefit-driven campaigns that align with the Canadian Bank's strategic goals.

  • Collaborate with the Director to establish and refine annual and quarterly marketing strategies for your designated portfolio.
  • Work closely with the Customer Journey management teams to devise and implement customer-centric action plans and marketing initiatives.
  • Continuously assess consumer sentiment, market dynamics, competitive landscape, and immediate demand opportunities to enhance the agility of planning and budget allocation.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to strategize and execute marketing programs and action plans.
  • Lead a customer-focused team that gathers, analyzes, and utilizes insights from market research and data analytics to guide the strategic direction of benefit-driven campaign briefs.
  • Ensure a comprehensive understanding of Bank-wide and business partner requirements in plans and briefs, securing agreement and engagement from various business, channel, and marketing partners in a complex environment.
  • Facilitate an efficient and effective central point for Canadian Banking Marketing's squads to develop campaign calendars and establish individual program timelines.
  • Collaborate with Marketing's Journey Management teams to create streamlined workflows that clarify roles and responsibilities for team members across both practices.
  • Provide insights on budget management and coordinate with partners for budget adjustments.
  • Foster a high-performance culture centered on effective collaboration with business partners, Marketing Customer Journey Management, Marketing Performance Management, and Marketing Media Strategy to develop performance-driven campaigns and enhancements.
  • Contribute to the creation and deployment of creative assets across various media channels, serving as the primary contact for creative and media agencies. This includes channels such as video, display, social media, web, email, content, radio, and more.
  • Advocate for the proper use of the Scotiabank brand in Canada, ensuring compliance with global brand standards and visual identity guidelines.
  • Promote a customer-focused culture within your team to strengthen client relationships and leverage broader Bank connections and knowledge.

  • Authentic, decisive, resilient, highly collaborative, and results-oriented.
  • Experience in team management is a plus.
