About the Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Bilingual Evaluation Services Consultant to join our team at Adecco Canada. This is a 6-month on-site contract opportunity with potential for extension.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Conduct an initial kick-off meeting with the Head of Evaluation (HOE) to discuss and confirm objectives, expected deliverables, and project timelines.
  • Gather and review relevant documentation including Performance Measurement and Evaluation Committee (PMEC) Terms of Reference, plans, post-evaluation survey results, evaluation methodologies, and sample reports.
  • Conduct interviews with the HOE, Director of Evaluation, and Director of Professional Practices to assess the evaluation function.
  • Meet with the President and Executive Vice-President to identify their specific needs and strategic considerations related to Program Evaluation.
  • Conduct interviews with senior management, along with a focus group session with employees of the Program Evaluation Division.
  • Assess the implementation of the Treasury Board Policy on Results and associated Directive on Results.
  • Brief the HOE, Director of Evaluation, and Director of Professional Practices every two weeks on progress, observations, and findings.
  • Summarize preliminary results and recommendations in a presentation format to the above stakeholders.
  • Prepare a draft report for review by the HOE, revise based on feedback, and finalize the report for delivery.
  • Present final results and plans for improvement to the HOE, Director of Evaluation, and Director of Professional Practices.

This role requires a strong understanding of evaluation principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree or college diploma in Business Administration or a related field, and have a minimum of 1 year of experience conducting evaluations and assessments.
