About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Coordinator to support the development and implementation of various Primary Care and Health and Wellness events, engagements, and workshops for the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA). The ideal candidate will have experience in coordination, work planning, budgeting, and implementation of activities.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the FNHA's mission of improving health outcomes for First Nations individuals and communities. As a Senior Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating initiatives, resources, and tools aligned with the BC First Nations Perspective on Primary Care and Health and Wellness.

About You

  • Diploma with demonstrated coursework in First Nations studies, plus 1 to 2 years of significant, recent, and relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in the regional health authority systems/services, and in particular working with First Nations individuals, communities, or organizations on issues related to health and wellness.
  • Recent, relevant experience at a coordinator level in coordination, work planning, budgeting, and implementation of activities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft systems, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; SharePoint and OneNote proficiency are assets.

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. This salary reflects the cost of living in Vancouver Island, where this role is located. Please note that salaries may vary based on individual circumstances.
