About the Role

The First Nations Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Wellness Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Primary Care team, you will be responsible for coordinating a variety of health and wellness events, engagements, and workshops for the FNHA in collaboration with First Nations, key departments of FNHA, and FNHA health system partners.

About You

  • You will have a diploma with demonstrated coursework in First Nations studies, plus 1 to 2 years of significant, recent, and relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • You will have experience in the regional health authority systems/services, and in particular working with First Nations individuals, communities or organizations on issues related to health and wellness.
  • You will have recent, relevant experience, at a coordinator level, in coordination, work planning, budgeting and implementation of activities.
  • You will be proficient in Microsoft systems including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; SharePoint and OneNote proficiency are assets.

If selected for employment, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination by providing a copy of your BC Vaccination Card Passport with the QR code.
