Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical expertise and leadership in the areas of clinical practice, consultation, supervision, inter-professional collaboration, education and training, quality improvement, and research.
  • Lead the development and implementation of clinical programs and services that promote excellence in the delivery of relevant, evidence-based clinical interventions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote inter-professional practice and improve patient outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with individuals, families, groups, and communities.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field of mental health and addictions.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of four (4) years' clinical practice in community mental health/addictions services.
  • Two (2) years' experience in consultative or supervisory role.
  • Skills and experience in staff training and development within a continuous learning environment.
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary staff and promoting inter-professional practice.
  • Experience in program planning, evaluation and development.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of advanced clinical assessment and treatment models, including therapeutic models, crisis response, case management, inter-professional practice, prevention and promotion, service coordination and integration, supportive counselling, trauma-informed practice, and systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of quality assurance principles.
  • Demonstrated inter-professional collaborative team building abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve in complex situations.
