Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert nursing care to patients with complex and unpredictable health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide independent nursing services to patients, including administration of prescribed medical treatments.
  • Lead the healthcare team in providing high-quality patient care and coordination of patient discharge.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program.
  • Current CRNM registration.
  • One year recent acute Cardiology or Cardiac Surgery and/or acute Medical/Surgical and/or Emergency Nursing experience.
