Clinical Nurse Specialist

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, you will provide expert nursing care to patients with complex and unpredictable health needs. You will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and discharge, and provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff.
Responsibilities- Provide expert nursing care to patients with complex and unpredictable health needs
- Coordinate patient care and discharge
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Current CRNM registration
- Post-graduate course in ICU nursing or equivalent ICU experience
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program
- Active participation in professional associations, such as the Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred.
