Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Nutritional Sciences or a related field from an accredited Canadian university program or the approved equivalent if internationally educated.
  • Experience: Two years' clinical nutrition experience preferred, with a focus on outpatient nutrition counseling.
  • Certification/Licensure/Registration: Must be a Registered Dietitian with the College of Dietitians of Manitoba, and hold current CPR training.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of medical nutrition therapies and their application in clinical settings.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders, including clients, healthcare professionals, and students.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal direction, and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical analysis skills, with the ability to apply evidence-based guidelines and professional standards to client care.
