About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at 12155567 Canada Inc. as a Financial Record Keeper. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws.
  • Financial Data Entry: Enter financial data into our accounting system, including invoices, payments, and journal entries.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
Skills and Qualities
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access, and other accounting software.
