About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Wall-Up Group Inc. as a Financial Record Keeper. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and MS Word.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, organized, reliable, and excellent communication skills.
Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time position with a 35 to 44 hour workweek. The language of work is English.
